In early August 2004, Johnny Roy &The RubTones ventured down to Clarksdale Mississippi to the James Mathus Delta Recording Studio and recorded a full CD featuring at least seven original blues written by Johnny, along with some great, not overplayed blues classics from Little Willie John, Junior Parker, Wynonie Harris, etc... The CD still needs to be mixed and mastered, along with art production, etc.. The mastering will be done by former Motown legend Bob Olhsson, who now resides in Nashville. Look for a release in the Spring of 2005!
